Hobart Gun Club range address is at 48 Shene Road, Mangalore, which is 1km North of the Church on the top of the hill in the township of Pontville on the Right Hand Side of the Midland Highway heading towards Launceston. The range can be seen from the highway and there is a “Hobart Gun Club” sign at the Shene Road Junction with the highway. The club has the following layouts available:
- 3 DTL Trap (two with lights)
- 3 ACTA Skeet
- 2 ISSF Skeet
- 1 Ball Trap
- 1 ISSF Trap
Competition shooting is on the last Sunday of each month and intermittently on the second Saturday of the month. Weekly midweek practice for DTL Trap and ACTA Skeet is also available each Wednesday afternoon from 1-30 p.m. to 4-00 p.m.
